The first collection of Churchill war speeches, a small, handy pamphlet that was published in India at The Times of India Press. First of a series of three, it included one to-that-point unpublished speech, delivered in the House of Commons on June 25, "How France Was Delivered into Bondage." The speech was subsequently included in the first book-length collection, INTO BATTLE. This pamphlet is in very good condition overall, though a price sticker appears to have been removed from the front cover, marring an edge of the frontis photo and rubbing away the 1940 date in the title line. Contents fine.
